Seltene Maserati Ghibli SS - 1 von nur 425 gebauten!
In den 1970er Jahren stellte Maserati den Ghibli SS vor, eine 4,9-Liter-Version, die mehr Geschwindigkeit und Leistung bietet. Der SS trug einen Hubmotor, der den Hubraum auf 4,9 Liter erhöhte. Durch die Atmung mit vier Webber-Vergasern mit zwei Drosseln wurde die Leistung auf ca 330 PS erhöht und der Ghibli für ungefähr 250 km / h gut. Der Ghibli SS ist ein echter Performer, und sein klangvoller V8 bei vollem Song wird mit Sicherheit jeden Liebhaber von Geschwindigkeit befriedigen.
Mit insgesamt 1.149 produzierten Coupés wurde nur ein kleiner Prozentsatz ( nur 425 Autos ) des begehrten SS-Modells jemals gebaut.
Dieses in Frankreich neu gelieferte Matching-Number Beispiel in wunderschönem Rosso-Rubino und prächtigem Lederinterieur wurde Ende der 90er Jahre umfassend restauriert.
2007 wurde das Auto in Paris von Poulain Le Flur an Luigi Compiano verkauft. Vor dem Kauf erhielt das Auto einen umfassenden Service des französischen Restaurators Carosserie Lecoq, einschließlich aller neuen Filter und Dichtungen, Wasserpumpe, neuen Auspuff und eines Becker-Radios.
Dieser Ghibli SS mit dem 4,9-Liter-Desiralbe-Motor ist ein sehr schönes Beispiel für die Marke und verdient besondere Aufmerksamkeit.
Enthusiasten werden feststellen, dass es die gleiche Farbe wie das Ghibli im Film -La Piscine mit Alain Delon, Romy Schneider und Maurice Ronet hat, was einer der Hauptgründe ist, warum Mr. Compiano es gekauft hat! Der Ghibli in dieser 4,9-Liter-SS-Version verfügt über ein wunderbares Drehmoment, was dieses Auto zu einem sehr angenehmen Auto macht und in Bezug auf die Leistung ein würdiger Rivale des Ferrari 365 GTB / 4 Daytona ist ... wenn auch noch nicht in Bezug auf den Preis.
Diese schöne Ghibli SS wurde aus der von RM Sotheby´s angebotenen Privatsammlung Luigi Compiano von über 400 gekauft.

Rare Maserati Ghibli SS
In the 1970s Maserati introduced the Ghibli SS, a 4.9 litre version offering increased speed and power.
The SS carried a stroked motor that increased the displacement up to 4.9 Liters. Breathing through four twin-choke Webber carburetors, power was increased to 330hp and made the Ghibli good for roughly 174mph. The Ghibli SS is a real performer, and its sonorous V8 at full song will most certainly satisfy any devotee of speed.
With a total of 1.149 coupés produced, only a small percent ( only 425 cars ) of the desirable SS model were ever built.
Delivered new to France, this matching numbers example presented in wonderful Rosso-Rubino and sumptuous leather interior benefitted from an extensive restoration in the late 1990s.
In 2007 the car was sold in Paris by Poulain Le Flur to Luigi Compiano. Prior to purchase the Car received a full service by French restorer, Carosserie Lecoq, including all new filters and seals, waterpump, new exhaust and a Becker radio.
Described to be in excellent condition throughout, this Ghibli SS with the desiralbe 4.9 litre engine is a very fine example of the marque and worthy of close attention.
Enthusiasts will note that it is the same color as the Ghibli in the film -La Piscine- starring Alain Delon, Romy Schneider and Maurice Ronet, which is one of the main reasons that Mr. Compiano bought it! The Ghibli in this 4.9-litre SS version has wonderful torque, making this a very agreeable car to drive, and a worthy rival of the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona in terms of performance...if not yet in terms of price.
This beautiful Ghibli SS was purchased from the Luigi Compiano private collection of over 400 offered by RM Sotheby´s.
