The 2015 Audi RS6 stands as one of the great modern performance estates, seamlessly blending supercar pace with everyday usability and discreet, executive styling.
At its heart lies Audi Sport’s formidable 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing a commanding 560 bhp and an immense wave of torque delivered effortlessly across the rev range. Paired with the lightning-fast Tiptronic transmission and Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel-drive system, the RS6 achieves 0-60mph in little more than 3.9 seconds, figures that remain deeply impressive even by today’s standards.
Yet it is the RS6s breadth of ability that truly defines it. In Comfort mode, it settles into a refined and composed long-distance cruiser, its air suspension smoothing the road with quiet confidence. Switch to Dynamic and the character transforms entirely, tightening its responses, sharpening the exhaust note and revealing a chassis capable of remarkable poise for a car of its size and stature.
The exterior design is purposeful without excess. Subtly bolstered arches, RS detailing and oval exhaust outlets hint at the performance beneath, while retaining a timeless elegance that has aged exceptionally well. Inside, the cabin offers a masterclass in quality and ergonomics, with RS sports seating, premium materials throughout and a driver-focused environment that feels both luxurious and resolutely functional.
Our car here, is presented in the elegant Daytona Pearl Grey, with the forged 7-twin spoke diamond-cut wheels and black brake calipers housed within. Complimenting silver accents can be found on the wing mirrors, front splitter and roof rails. The interior is nothing short of fantastic. The front Sports Seats (With heating and memory function) are finished in black leather, featuring a quilted alcantara centre panel and RS6 embossing to the headrests. The rear seats are equally comfortable, also being heated, and benefitting from ISOFIX and rear dual climate control.
The carbon fibre inlays provide great contrast across the centre console, dashboard and door cards. The leather clad Sports steering wheel is in fantastic condition and the MMI Navigation Plus controls are well thought out and easy to use. The spacious and versatile boot provides all the storage room necessary, with a cargo net and load cover for added security. BOSE Surround Sound finishes off the interior perfectly, providing an engaging audio experience.
Having had just two owners, with the second a long-term and caring ownership of 10 years, the car benefits from a full Audi service history carried out by the same dealer each time. As a result, the car is mechanically sound and performs exactly as intended.
