The Porsche 911 Einspritzer Targa is a captivating icon from the late 1960s, a time when petrol stations were still manned, cigarettes adorned birthday tables, and the counterculture challenged convention.
The legendary Targa top combines the exhilaration of open-air driving, the sleek elegance of the Targa bar, and the practicality of a removable hardtop. This particular car is a bespoke project, reflecting the care and passion of its previous owner, who treated it with the love it truly deserves.
Its colour alone is exceptional. Finished in Wunschfarbe Crystal Blue, one of Porsche’s rarest custom shades, this hue was offered for only a limited number of years. Reportedly, just 75 vehicles left the Porsche factory in Stuttgart in this colour. The restoration is flawless, with every part renewed and seams perfectly aligned—an absolute testament to craftsmanship.
The true heart of this car, however, lies under the rear deck: the 3.0-litre flat-six engine. This isn’t just an engine—it’s a symphony of performance. Equipped with high-performance pistons and six individual throttle bodies (ITBs), it delivers thrilling acceleration. A computer-controlled fuel injection system, with a bespoke wiring harness, ensures each cylinder receives precisely the right amount of fuel at the right moment—sequential injection perfected. Completing the package are a racing flywheel and a modified gearbox, providing seamless shifts and an engaging driving experience that would make even modern Porsche drivers sit up and take notice.
Paired with all-round stabilisers and a full stainless-steel exhaust, the car responds instantly to the throttle, producing a soundtrack that turns heads wherever you go.
