Description
Olive with a German twist? Certainly if that twist is an early Porsche 911 ‘F’ model in its original and rare colour 'Olive', a very attractive hue of green, reminiscent of green olives.
With matching numbers and a restoration done to the highest level, this 911T has a lot to offer.
The 1969 Porsche 911 marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of the 911, as it introduced a slightly longer wheelbase (increased by 57 mm), dramatically improving handling and stability, an important refinement in response to criticism of the earlier short-wheelbase cars ‘twitchy’ behaviour.
Introduced as the entry-level model of the lineup, the “T” stood for Touring, offering a more accessible alternative to the higher performance 911E and 911S.
Powered by a 2.0-liter, air-cooled flat-six engine producing 110 horsepower, the 911T maintained the signature, lightweight agility, that Porsche 911s have rightly come to be known for.
This 1969 Porsche 911T went through a nut and bolt restoration in the workshop of the previous owner. Not one stone was left untouched by his mechanics and the Porsche is better than new in all aspects. Every single bolt and nut has been replaced or refurbished where necessary. Everywhere you look, this car is clean, tight and on the button. Better than new.
Matching number status and original colours are confirmed in the Porsche Certificate that comes with the car.
Since the restoration, the Porsche has travelled 11.000kms and has remained steady and reliable as you would expect from a no-expense spared restoration.
If you are looking for an early Porsche 911T in faultless condition both mechanically and cosmetically, and on top of that, in a rare and unique colour that can only be fully appreciated in the flesh, this 911 is the one.
A true keeper to cherish for many years to come, with only regular maintenance needed and with only the fun part to be explored: the driving!.
