A Jaguar XKR is already a remarkably elegant British sports car in its own right: desirable, fast, comfortable, and powered by a glorious supercharged 4.0-liter V8. Turn it into a beautifully styled convertible, and it offers everything an automotive enthusiast could wish for. Yet, Jaguar still found a way to make the XKR Convertible even more appealing. Thus, the Silverstone Edition was born.
The Silverstone can be recognized by its exclusive Platinum Silver Metallic high-gloss paint finish. Inside, the comfortable seats are upholstered in beautiful black leather. For audio enthusiasts, the car is equipped with the Premium Sound System, delivering outstanding sound quality. Specially finished wood veneer unique to the Silverstone Edition further enhances the car’s exclusivity. At the rear, a subtle small spoiler is fitted to the trunk lid. The car rides on 20-inch “Detroit” wheels fitted with low-profile tires. In addition, it features numerous other specifications and options. The special character of the Silverstone Edition is stressed by unique badges applied to the nose, the trunk lid, and the door sills.
In the Netherlands, only four of these fully equipped Silverstones were delivered. This car was originally delivered new in 2000 by Kimman Amsterdam. Maintenance has always been carried out by Jaguar specialists, as shown in the summary of the service booklet and invoices provided here.

The last owner had the Silverstone in his possession for 19 years. The car comes with all booklets, a cover for the open soft top, a car cover, and a wind deflector.
