The 1968 Jaguar E-Type Roadster remains one of Britain's most celebrated sports cars, admired for its timeless styling and outstanding performance. The fastidious vendor has owned this Jaguar for the last 15 years and has enjoyed several long trips into Europe with this open top tourer. The previous owner had this Jaguar for 25 years. The MoT history, together with only two owners in 40 years indicates the mileage of 47,500 to be correct (although not warranted). Fitted with an uprated engine, five-speed gearbox and A.P. brakes, together with improved suspension, we are advised by the private vendor this E-Type is a delight to drive. The engine purrs and has good oil pressure. This Jaguar has periodically undergone extensive restoration at the hands of various specialists over the past 25 years (bills on file). The Jaguar Heritage Certificate shows the car as being manufactured in Primrose Yellow with black interior, it also confirms this as being a matching numbers example. Currently bearing a cherished number plate, this will be retained by the vendor and the car is expected to go back onto its original plate of ONR 927F.
