The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is without doubt one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built by Ford. This beautiful Mustang Mach 1 was built on April 17th, 1969, and is an original S-code example. From the factory, this Mustang was equipped with the legendary 390 FE Big Block engine producing 325 horsepower. Ford’s FE engine series became famous for its enormous torque, powerful sound, and impressive performance. During the late 1960s, the 390 FE was used in several high-performance Ford models and became a true icon of the muscle car era.
The original 390 engine in this Mustang has been upgraded with aluminum cylinder heads. This not only provides additional performance, but also allows the car to run on unleaded fuel. In addition, a modern fuel injection carburetor system has been installed, making the car easy to start, smooth at idle, and very stable to drive under all conditions. Combined with the 4-speed manual transmission, this creates an outstanding driving experience while fully preserving the authentic muscle car feeling.
This Mach 1 is also very well equipped with desirable options including power steering, power disc brakes, and the strong Ford 9-inch rear axle — a perfect combination for a powerful Mustang like this.
The color combination truly completes the car. Finished in beautiful Acapulco Blue, this Mustang has the ultimate late-1960s appearance and combines perfectly with the White Deluxe interior featuring High Bucket Seats.
