Hilton & Moss are excited to present a very special Caterham Seven to the market for the very first time. Introducing the Caterham Seven Miami Special Edition, based on the 420R.
The Caterham Seven Miami Edition was created specifically to celebrate the 2026 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, making its public debut on May 1st, 2026 at the Miami International Autodrome. The project combined Caterham’s hand-built engineering with the vibrant colours and distinctive automotive culture of Miami, while supporting the marque’s expansion into the American market.
The cars were hand-assembled at Caterham’s factory before being flown to Miami in time for the Grand Prix. Each example features a plaque in the engine bay engraved with the names and signatures of the two technicians responsible for its assembly. A second, individually numbered plaque on the dashboard identifies each car as one of just 12 examples produced worldwide.
The example presented here is number 9 of those 12. Each car was set to be used for the Formula 1 Driver’s Parade in the build up to the Miami Grand Prix with each pair of drivers piloting a car! This car was destined to driven by Audi Revolut's Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto, however, inclement weather meant that the Grand Prix would be brought forward by three hours leaving no time for the parade to ever take place!
Underneath the bespoke Aqua and Vibrant Pink paintwork lies the popular 420R package. The 2.0 litre Duratec engine produces 210 bhp, driven through the 5-speed manual gearbox and Limited-Slip Differential, providing a zero to 60 time of just 3.8 seconds. Other notable spec includes bespoke ‘Miami’ script embroidery to the heated carbon fibre seats with green and yellow contrast stitch, the larger SV chassis with lowered floor, easy access track day roll cage, uprated Bilstein suspension, 620R nosecone, black pack detailing, high intensity LED lighting and much more. Full specification can be provided upon request.
Having now returned home to the UK, this Seven remains entirely ‘as new’ having covered just 16 miles and is yet to be road registered. If desired, the car will be IVA tested and road registered by Caterham in readiness for the first owner. Presented in the factory built left-hand drive configuration - as all 12 cars are - the car will be supplied with a full Caterham manufacturer warranty and pre-delivery inspection. Delivery and ongoing vehicle management and support can also be arranged by our in-house teams.
