Description
This is one of the rare early 3-liter Healeys with overdrive. Only 2,825 examples of this two-seater were built. It was exported to the USA in July 1959, brought back in the 1990s, and completely restored by a specialist company in the mid-1990s (invoice available). Since then, it has been driven very little. The German vehicle registration document lists 1961 as the year of first registration, but according to the BMIHT (Federal Ministry of Transport and Technology), the Healey rolled off the assembly line in July 1959. All components are original or have matching numbers. A certificate (BMIHT) is also available. The odometer reading is a reading and likely inaccurate. The exact mileage is unknown. The vehicle registration document lists an output of 91 kW at 2,859 cc. The original steering wheel is included, as are the immaculate soft top, the interior tonneau cover, and the side windows. The car is in good to very good condition, and an appraisal valuing it at €85,000 is available. I bought the car about 3 years ago; it was, the fulfillment of a childhood dream. However, we now want to spend most of the year in the sunny south, and the car would just sit idle here, which is a real shame.
We ourselves will be back in Germany until around mid/late June, but a viewing is possible now. The car is located at my company and can be presented by my employee by arrangement.
