Our Aston Martin Vanquish is a genuine low-mileage example with just 8,125 miles on the clock. Two careful owners from new, and it shows. The car comes complete with its original books and tools—everything as it left the factory.

Finished in Tungsten Silver with Obsidian Black leather, this is the launch specification that appeared in Die Another Day. It's the colour combination most buyers want, and it's getting difficult to find in this sort of condition.

The 5.9-litre V12 delivers 460 horsepower and the kind of noise that makes you want to take the long way home. The automated manual gearbox takes some getting used to, but that's part of the car's character. Everything works as it should, and the car feels tight and properly sorted.

These Vanquishes were the last hand-built Astons from Newport Pagnell. They're now recognised as one of the best things the company ever produced, and prices are reflecting that. Finding one with genuine low mileage and proper history is becoming a real challenge.
