Description

KEY FACTS

This genuine Dieppe-built Alpine A110 is a lightweight classic sports car, which has now been upgraded to Group 4 specification, and which has proven to be a competitive car in historic rallying.
It is powered by a 1.4-litre Alpine inline-four, which has been bored out from the original 1300VC engine, uprated to Gordini-specification, and is fed by twin Weber carburettors.
It sends power to the rear wheels via a slick-shifting five-speed manual gearbox.
The odometer displays 78,852 km (48,996 miles) from new.
The car has campaigned competitively in the Coupes des Alpes, the Historic Monte Carlo rally and regularity rallies which include the 48 horas de Alentejo.
Recent improvements include a new wiring loom, new Plexiglas windows, revised instruments, and new tyres.
The car is road legal with current Belgian papers and is also registered on Belgian classic car numberplates.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This A110 is finished in a distinctive shade of orange with a white roof and white decals on the bonnet and doors, over a black interior with racing bucket seats.
It rides on a set of 13-inch split rim wheels shod in Formula Vitour tyres.
This Group 4 specification car started life as a genuine Dieppe 1300VC, but was later converted to racing specification which included the engine which has now been bored out to 1,440cc to Gordini-specification fed by twin Weber carburettors.
Inside, the car features a Terratrip 2 Classic Tripmaster for use in regularity rallies.
The car is supplied with current Belgian registration, and a single invoice.

CONDITION

There is no impact damage present on the bodywork.
The orange paintwork is generally described as being in fair condition, showing the classic signs of cracking associated with a fibreglass-bodied car of this age.
Inside, the cabin presents well, with some creasing and light wear on the black leather-trimmed bucket seats, in line with the car’s usage and mileage.
There are no known mechanical or electrical faults with the car.
The most recent Belgian technical control test was carried out during March 2021, which the vendor reports showed no advisories or warning items.
New Formula Vitour tyres were recently fitted.

SERVICE HISTORY

The most recent service on this Alpine A110 was an annual service, which was performed at approximately 73,000 km, and consisted of an engine oil and filter change, along with the replacement of the car’s wiring loom.
