The story of Strada e Corsa started in 2005 with two brothers, Jurriaan and Lennart Schouwenburg, whose purpose was to provide the highest level of restoration for collector cars and achieve a reputation for excellence in this field.

Strada e Corsa’s classic car restorations are predominantly, but not exclusively, for Italian manufacturers such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Osca and Fiat 8V. The quality of our work has been recognised on numerous occasions, with overall and class victories at Villa d’Este, Pebble Beach, The Quail, Palm Beach Cavallino Classic and other prestigious international concours d’élégance events

Growing up in a family where racing and restoring icons such as the Ferrari 250/GT Berlinetta SWB, 250 MONZA and 340 Berlinetta Touring were the essence of their upbringing, Jurriaan began his ‘training’ at the age of fourteen, restoring the resident Lancia Aurelia B20 and 1954 Ferrari 250 Europa. After finishing high school he attended the School of Automotive Industry and worked with marque specialists and collectors in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States.

Upon his return to the Netherlands, Jurriaan teamed up with his younger brother, Lennart, whose commercial background, knowledge and purchasing expertise in the classic car market helped to establish Strada e Corsa’s successful reputation among the Italian classic car community worldwide.

For more than fifteen years, Strada e Corsa has been proud to restore a substantial number of the limited-edition Fiat 8Vs and SIATAs in production, resulting in a world-leading position for the restoration of these cars. As well as offering unsurpassed levels of historic knowledge and craftsmanship, the family-owned restoration workshop collaborates with the best Italian body shops and can provide new Otto Vu parts and components which are developed and manufactured in-house to the latest metallurgic standards.
