This superbly original 1979 built Volkswagen Beetle convertible was supplied from new by VW dealer Jim McDonald of Lincoln, Nebraska, the USA on the 25th January 1980. What is remarkable is that this authentic, unrestored car has only travelled 19,037 miles in all those years. The wonderful bodywork has well fitting body panels and really good paintwork. The underbody is as good as new; it has never required any welding and is fully rust-free. Mechanically the car is in excellent working order and drives perfectly. It has the original ‘Silver’ finish in combination with a black vinyl interior trim and matching hood. It has the correct injection engine. This Beetle comes with its original service book and owner’s manual.
