Descripción

Porsche 993 Carrera RS Clubsport produced on March 17, 1995 in Zuffenhausen where it remained as an internal use car, owned by Porsche and registered two months later.

A year later, in May 1996 with about 20,000km, the car passed through the Porsche Straubing Center where it was serviced, before arriving in Italy in November of the same year, purchased by Giuseppe Giovenzana, a gentleman driver from Milan who entrusted the car in the expert hands of Orlando Redolfi, Autorlando team, Porsche official workshop and above all an expert racing car mechanic.

Since then, the car has always and only been followed by the Pedrengo workshop, both for routine maintenance and for assistance during the races during the Porsche Targa Tricolore seasons.

This RS, finished in Indian Red, was delivered with the rare Clubsport M003 package (227 units produced) which included the installation of the Matter welded roll cage, absence of sound absorbers and carpet in the passenger compartment and the installation of what was mandatory for N-GT class competitions: bucket seats (with body painted in the color of the bodywork) clothed in fireproof material, 5-point harnesses and hand-operated fire extinguisher. Externally, the Clubsport was distinguished by the standard kit of the larger wings, the strut bar and, in particular, this car was equipped with the predisposition of the radio (Duesseldorf RCR84): it was an unusual option, probably justified by the fact that the car was used internally by the test drivers, the radio was used to keep company during the long hours in the car.

The car raced successfully in Italy for several seasons, from 1997 to 2003: among the people who alternated in Giovenzana, at the wheel there were Fabio Villa and Romeo Camathias, Swiss gentleman driver experienced in endurance races (Sebring , Nurburgring, Spa) and in Eurotouring, but above all father of the works Porsche driver Joel Camathias.

After the ownership of Giovenzana, the car passed to another driver of the Autorlando team, Roberto Franzoni, then passed to a well-known Italian collection where it remained until 2017 and finally reached the hands of the current owner. Below you can find the full list of the races done.

Car completely matching numbers, with Porsche CoA, fully documented, transparent and accident-free sports history, this car presents itself today with a beautiful racing past, fully serviced (the last one few kilometers ago by Autorlando workshop which involved engine, gearbox and suspensions).

The exterior has deliberately remained in the conditions of the last race, therefore with its signs of competitive use. The car comes with all the documents, including the service book, the touring pass, the technical passports of the sporting seasons, the complete press review, the photographs of all the races carried out, the ASI Certificate of Historical Relevance and original Italian plates. Regularly registered in Italy with inspection done, ready to be used both on the road and on track.
