Descripción

The Maserati 3500 GT Touring is one of the timeless Italian sports cars with a lot of style. Likely one of the finest designs by coachbuilder Touring Superleggera, it remains an epitome of Italian style today. In addition to the beauty of the body and interior, the 3500 GT also features a fantastic engine, an evolution of the famous Maserati racing cars from the 1950s.

The example we have for sale is one of the best on the market. Between 2016 and 2020, the Maserati underwent a complete restoration at MBL Classics, sparing no expense, with the majority of the original sheet metalwork preserved. The entire wiring harness was replaced, adhering to original specifications using factory-specific cable and wire colors. Original NOS Cibié headlights were installed, and the interior was beautifully reupholstered with the finest full-grain beige leather. A complete suspension overhaul was carried out with the proper Koni Classic shock absorbers, and the braking system was completely overhauled. The engine and all drive components were also restored. Refurbished Borrani wire wheels from that era with the correct labeling were mounted. The fit and finish of this 3500 GT Touring are very high and perfect for any world-class Concours d'Élégance around the globe. All work has, of course, been documented and will be provided to the new owner.

A special highlight of the vehicle is the correct and contemporary Weber 42DCOE carburetors. They were ordered by the original owner SIROTTI from Vignola. Another highlight is the vent pulls between the hood and the roof, which were only available on request from Maserati to significantly increase airflow in the cabin while driving.

The Maserati is well-documented; the car was originally delivered to Italy and after a few years, it was shipped to America, where it was stored at Flying. All delivery documents are with the vehicle. Subsequently, an Englishman purchased the car and commissioned a nut and bolt restoration. After the restoration, the English owner decided to sell the vehicle. Since the restoration, the current owner has driven approximately 6,500 km with the car and participated in various rallies.

If you are looking for one of the best Maserati 3500 GT Touring on the market, this example is definitely one you should consider. Finished in the most beautiful color combination and ready to be enjoyed and admired.
