The 1954 Austin Healey 100 is a classic British sportscar known for its clean lines, low stance, and spirited performance. Powered by a 2.6 litre inline-four engine, it delivered strong torque and a thrilling driving feel for its era. Lightweight construction and responsive steering made it popular in motorsports and touring alike. Its fold-down windshield and minimalist interior capture pure, open-road motoring charm that still excites collectors and enthusiasts worldwide today.
This impeccable 1954 Austin Healey presents in immaculate Coronet Cream coachwork with a contrasting red leather interior. The car had been off the road for several years before work was undertaken by a well-respected marque specialist who was well known in Healey circles as both a leading authority and restorer of several concourse winning examples. This handsome example benefitted from a meticulous and complete ground up restoration back to original specification including a bare metal respray and full retrimming. It is easy to see that no expense was spared in the work completed on this car. The shut lines and panel gaps are of an award-winning standard. It is believed this car was a works car as the number plate ONX was used by the Healey Motor Co for their test cars, the small child seat and the air intakes on the wings indicate an experimental car possibly.
