Description

It arrived in Portugal on October 19, 1977 and was sold by Auto Sueco, (Volvo Portugal at that time), on November 11, 1977 to a customer from Oporto.

In 1981, the 244 turbo appeared and this car was equipped with a turbo with its characteristic pressure gauge, which made it unique. It was ordered with unusual extras at the time, such as a rev counter, air conditioning, volvo stereo, rear electric windows, a branded tow bar, etc. I bought it in the middle of Covid from a Volvo enthusiast who had done a complete restoration. The only thing that wasn't restored was the car's original upholstery, which, with the exception of the driver's seat, is still in good condition. I have records of a restoration cost of around 13,000 euros. The restoration consisted of: plating and painting, total repair of the air conditioning system, turbo, gearbox, carburetor, tires, exhaust system, etc. It was also certified by Acp classics.
