This magnificent Triumph TR4 is finished in an elegant black on black colour scheme, featuring a black body, black faux leather interior and matching black carpeting.

The car was beautifully repainted in the past, the interior was renewed, and the overall condition is very good.

It drives delightfully, has been serviced regularly, shows no signs of corrosion, and has recently been fitted with a new battery.

The TR4 is equipped with many desirable features, including Overdrive, chrome wire wheels, a high gloss lacquered wooden dashboard, and a Moto Lita wood rimmed sports steering wheel (the original steering wheel is included).

Additional fittings comprise twin chrome door mounted mirrors, two point safety belts, a period Blaupunkt AM radio, power brakes, and an electric cooling fan. The car is supplied with a white soft top (in fair condition), a white aftermarket hard top, and a black tonneau cover.

The Triumph TR4 is one of the most desirable British roadsters of its era. Styled by the Italian master designer Giovanni Michelotti, it combined distinctive looks with rugged mechanicals.

Its 2.1 litre long stroke four cylinder engine produced 105 bhp, giving the TR4 strong performance for its class. The model enjoyed considerable success in 1960s American touring car competition, including victory in the 1965 SCCA C Production National Championship, and it also competed in major European rallies such as the 1962/63 Tulip Rally, the 1962/63 Alpine Rally, the 1962/63 Liège–Sofia–Liège marathon, and the 1962/63 RAC Rally.
