Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare 1949 Triumph Roadster 2000, one of the most distinctive British post-war roadsters and a highly desirable collector’s automobile today.
The car underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration in the early 2000s. In recent years, numerous additional works have been carried out by specialised workshops, resulting in a very well-maintained and mechanically sound example.
The original engine has been professionally overhauled, along with the carburettor system. A twin-carburettor setupis currently installed, providing smooth and responsive performance. The original carburettor and air filter assemblyare included, allowing a return to full originality at any time.
The entire braking system has been fully refurbished, and a new exhaust system has been fitted, sourced from original club stock in the UK.
A key feature is the wooden frame, which is in excellent condition – a critical aspect of this model.
The exterior is finished in grey metallic paint with patina, giving the car a very authentic appearance. The interior features burgundy leather upholstery, which is in very good condition. The soft top is as new.
An H-registration valuation report is available. The vehicle is currently registered on red collector plates.
