The Cayman has the attractive and instantly recognizable Porsche design language, yet it is difficult to match — let alone surpass — an icon. After all, the legendary Porsche 911 is the very cornerstone of the Porsche brand. Nevertheless, the 718 Cayman has firmly established its place within the Porsche lineup. In fact, its handling could arguably be considered even better than that of the iconic 911. The Cayman feels lighter on its feet, and thanks to its mid-engine layout, it offers near-perfect balance. Combined with a superbly tuned chassis, the Cayman is a serious sports car that is, above all, immensely rewarding to drive.
The S version, powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and, in this case, paired with a 7-speed PDK transmission, hardly trails its bigger brother, the 911, in terms of performance. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 285 km/h, the Cayman S more than holds its own among high-performance sports cars. On winding roads, even more powerful rivals need to be on their game to avoid being overtaken by a Cayman S driver. A smile from ear to ear is guaranteed on every drive in the Cayman S, which is exactly why driving enthusiasts and purists hold the model in such high regard.
This Cayman S was originally delivered new in Trebaseleghe, Italy. The first owner selected a modern and timeless color combination of Graphite Blue Metallic Pearl Effect with a matching grey leather interior. In addition, the car is equipped with the aforementioned 7-speed PDK transmission. PDK stands for Porsche Doppelkupplung, Porsche’s dual-clutch transmission system, which enables lightning-fast gear changes. The transmission can also be operated manually via the paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.
This Porsche is exceptionally well specified, presented in very good condition, and has been maintained exclusively by Porsche dealerships:
