A truly remarkable example of the coveted A124 E320 Cabrio, with only 18,995 miles from new. Finished in Tourmaline Green with contrasting Mushroom leather and equipped with the desirable Sportline option.

Supplied new in April 1996 by Mercedes dealers Rose & Young of Surrey. Mr Roberts paid £51,080 for the cabriolet including walnut trim, half-walnut/leather steering wheel, heated seats, draft deflector and the Sportline option, which comprised of uprated suspension, wider wheels and tyres, wing badging, a smaller steering wheel and unique, Sportline-badged gear knob.

Roberts kept the car for 22 years, covering a negligible mileage, before selling the it to his friend, Mr Sargeant, who only kept it for a year before the car passed to its third and final owner, who has had the car six years and increased the mileage during his tenure from 15k to nearly 19k miles.

As you might expect from a car with under 20k miles and that has always been garaged, it is in exceptional, original condition, outside, inside and underneath.

The Tourmaline Green paintwork is immaculate, the black fabric roof unmarked. The wheels are diamond cut as per original and wear matching Michelin tyres all round. The interior has zero signs of wear or fade. Under the bonnet it remains factory fresh with the zinc plating still gleaming.

On the road it, quite simply, drives like a new car - smooth, rapid, refined and sophisticated with space for four and the wind in your hair.
