HISTORY / EXTERIOR
It doesn’t get much tougher and more striking than this: the Jeep Wrangler is already an iconic car, still instantly recognizable as a descendant of the original Willys Jeep. This example comes with the Rubicon package, which enhances its off-road capabilities thanks to features such as all-terrain tires. The standard equipment is upgraded with a raised suspension, a Rock-Trac® 4x4 system with low gearing, heavy-duty axles, and Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials. Jeep calls the Rubicon the most off-road capable Wrangler ever built. Just like its predecessors, it offers the very best in 4x4 engineering to get out of the toughest and most unpredictable situations.

As if that weren’t enough, this example has been further upgraded for even better off-road performance. Falcon Series 3 shock absorbers have been installed, adjustable in Soft, Custom, and Firm modes. At the front, a Warrior winch is mounted, along with high-quality EVO J3 LED headlights. Finished in full black, this Jeep makes an imposing and rugged impression. The car was originally delivered new in the United States in 2011 and imported to the Netherlands in 2021, where it now comes from its first Dutch owner. The car shows minor signs of use but no significant damage.

INTERIOR
Thanks to the 2011 facelift, the Wrangler comes with a stylish and modern interior offering surprising levels of luxury and convenience. Equipment includes: optional premium ‘Infinity’ sound system with subwoofer, 12V power outlets in both the center console and trunk, cruise control, air conditioning, front power windows, and floor mats front and rear. With its removable hardtop (premium version in body color), you can also enjoy open-air driving in the sun and outdoors. The black interior remains in good condition with only light signs of use.

TECHNICAL
Under the hood lies a refined 3.8-liter V6 petrol engine with pushrod valve operation. With sufficient power and torque (199 hp, 315 Nm), it delivers solid performance both off-road and on asphalt. Quite rare is the 6-speed manual transmission paired with this engine, ensuring an optimal driving experience.
In terms of safety, the Wrangler is equipped with advanced features such as multi-stage airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) with three operating modes, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with off-road calibration, electronic roll mitigation (ERM), all-speed traction control, tire pressure monitoring (TPM), brake assist, and Hill Start Assist (HSA), preventing rollback on steep slopes.

GENERAL
The iconic Jeep Wrangler has been in production since 1986. The third-generation ‘JK’ was built from 2007 to 2018 (with a facelift in 2011) and was available in both 2-door and 4-door versions. This JK was a completely newly developed vehicle in terms of body, chassis, and suspension, and came with a significant increase in comfort and luxury.

The interior maintained the utilitarian character of the previous model, featuring hard plastics, stain-resistant materials, and practical drain plugs. An integrated roll cage, airbags, and ESP provide protection both off-road and on-road. The Wrangler seats four passengers. The 2011 facelift added a new dashboard, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and improved sound insulation. The Rubicon package was available at extra cost, delivering even more off-road capability. The Rubicon includes, for example, plastic fenders, larger wheels, unique rims, and diamond plating.
The legendary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: leave the beaten path behind and create your own adventures, because with the Wrangler Rubicon you are ready to take on any challenge.
