*History
*
The Ferrari 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" holds a special place in the brand's rich history. Developed in 1956, it became known for its lightweight aluminum Scaglietti bodywork, its powerful three-liter V12 engine with triple Weber carburetors, and its impressive racing achievements. The TdF earned its name through major victories in events like the Giro di Sicilia and, of course, the famous Tour de France rally.
Between 1958 and 1959, Scaglietti further refined the design, but only thirty-six examples of this evolution were built. Original TdFs are extremely rare and often bear the scars of their legendary racing careers, making well-preserved examples nearly impossible to find.
This recreation offers a rare opportunity to experience the beauty, performance, and allure of the legendary 250 GT Tour de France, executed to absolute perfection by the finest specialists in the world. A Ferrari for the true connoisseur, one that ranks among the very best both aesthetically and mechanically.
