Austin-Healey is best known for its sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s. The cars are very popular for their stylish design, sporting performance and reliability in races. The Austin-Healey 3000 is one of their best-known models, which is very popular with car enthusiasts and collectors to this day.

In March 1959, the Austin-Healey 3000 entered the market as a further development on the 100/6 roadster. The new 3000 was equipped with a large six-cylinder engine, boosted to nearly 3 liters, equipped with dual carburetors and for the first time with disc brakes on the front axle. This first version of the Austin-Healey 3000, built between 1959 and 1961, we now know as MK I. Over 3 production years, a total of 13,650 units of the first generation were produced, spread over two versions: the BN7 as a 2-seater and the 2+2 BT7.

Produced in 1960, our Austin-Healey reflects the spirit of the time like no other. Executed in the stunning two-tone color scheme of black over colorado red (3742), this Austin-Healey exudes timeless elegance yet rugged sportiness. Optionally, this 3000 was equipped as completely as possible, including black wire wheels, a laminated windshield, adjustable steering column, removable hardtop and even a gearbox with overdrive! The owner clearly spared no expense to put together this beauty.
Throughout the years this Healey has always been well maintained, we can conclude from the beautiful condition of the bodywork and the red full leather interior. Additionally, the 3000 comes with an extra set of original wheels, soft-top, luggage rack and a set of new bumpers.

This 3000Mk1 is the essence of a 1960s sports coupe: a comfortable seating position, perfectly tuned suspension, light steering with smooth gear changes and a magnificent sound. Driving feels slick and enjoyable, and the steering provides enough confidence to use the car for what it was made for: ultimate driving pleasure. What really finishes this car, however, are the front spotlights, which are not only functionally sound, but also complete this Austin-Healey aesthetically.

Whether you're taking a leisurely tour of the countryside or making a grand entrance at a classic car rally, this Austin-Healey 3000 Mk1 will always allow you to put yourself at the forefront due to its unmistakable shape, wonderful history and endless charisma.
