Description
This Aston Martin Vantage is 1 of 72 examples of this type built and, according to AML records, was the exhibition vehicle at the 1972 Earls Court Motor Show.
After David Brown had to sell the company, the new owners wanted to make the abbreviation "DB" disappear and instead used the designation "Vantage" for the last vehicles equipped with the 6 cylinder, as the new 8 cylinder was not yet ready. This means that this original gap filler is now a rare collector's item.
This Vantage has always been properly handled, as evidenced by two folders full of invoices, a complete listing of all service work and photos of a major restoration in 2009. The car was in England until 2009 and was then imported to Austria by the current owner and part of his collection here. Regular maintenance and TÜV / §57a can also be verified here. Original instruction book available.
The engine and transmission run and shift properly. The other technology and electrics are also in good order. The paintwork and interior are in good condition and benefit from professional detailing. Some paint defects are documented by photos.
