Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupe body. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, Aston Martin introduced the six litre Cosworth-designed and built V12 engine, developing 420bhp and accelerating from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds with a top speed limited to 185mph. Ian Callum enlarged the grille, added fog lamps and restyled the valances to give the car a more aggressive look.

This nice example is presented in light metallic blue with a blue and cream leather interior. The car has a good service history from 2000 to 2023 including all MoT test certificates right up until the present day, although there is a letter on file to explain a slight discrepancy to the mileage on one of the MoT test certificates which was human error at the MoT station! There is also a wind breaker and a hood cover which comes with the car. All the wood, leather and interior are in a condition commensurate with its age. The present owner has renewed the rear section of the hood and he has also had the wheels refurbished. It comes with a V5C and a fresh MoT test certificate. These are rare and highly sought-after sports cars which are drop dead gorgeous and with its V12 engine providing the power, it has the performance to match! Consigned by James Good
