Description

Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DB6 Mk. II had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in the design. Arguably one of the nicest looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupe body and robust six-cylinder engine. Power was supplied by an all-alloy double overhead camshaft supercharged 24 valve inline six-cylinder engine which produced 335bhp at 5750rpm. Regarded by many as the purist modern Aston Martin, the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the open road. In 1982, Aston Martin was granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by the Prince of Wales, the company holds the warrant to this day.

First registered on 10th October 1995, this example is presented in the rare Pennine Grey metallic over a cream leather trim with blue piping, royal blue carpet and blue leather door cars, it is sitting on option Aston Martin alloy wheels with a manual gearbox. Boasting just four former keepers, this i6 example was purchased to be delivered to Weston Super-Mare in 2015 as a second DB7 for the vendors collection, sadly he passed away some years later and the car remained dry stored until recently when it was sold by his estate. The car has been recommissioned and treated to a service and some cosmetic work ready for a new owner. The history shows the car was a light insurance category D in 2006 but fully repaired, this was nearly two decades ago and now the car is fitted with period-style Apple CarPlay. Offered with V5 registration document and an MoT test certificate until September 2026. Manual examples of the DB7 are a very collectable classics and this one is priced very sensibly given its low mileage and ownership, making it a fantastic opportunity to join those proud enough to be Aston Martin owners.
