A Mercedes-Benz 560SL from the 107 series is something very special, as it is the top model in the series. But not only because of that, but also because the 560 is usually exported to the United States of America and is now being brought back and offered here. This divides the fan community: many say that because of its appearance (US version), it is not a ‘real’ SL – but in our opinion, this is more a matter of taste than a factual argument. The argument about the difference in engine power, i.e. the lower engine output, only applies to the older versions (e.g. 380SL with 155 hp instead of 204 hp in the European version).

Our vehicle, which has barely clocked up 120,000 kilometres and which we are offering on behalf of its owner, has a 5.6-litre V8 engine with 227 hp and, together with a reasonable history, beautiful features and a great colour combination – champagne metallic with beige leather – ensures an unforgettable driving experience.
