The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (R107) is one of the most recognisable and enduring grand tourers of the modern classic era, combining timeless Mercedes-Benz design with long-distance comfort and renowned build quality. Produced throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the R107 is widely respected for its robust engineering, elegant proportions and everyday usability.

This 300 SL is finished in the highly attractive Pine Green metallic (DB 254), a colour which suits the model's clean, understated lines particularly well. The deep metallic paintwork is complemented by bright chrome detailing throughout and sits on its correct 15-inch alloy wheels, which remain in good condition, with two brand new Michelin tyres on the front. This example benefitted from a replacement black soft top hood around a year ago, and was made from high-quality German canvas, offering a tight, correct fit and excellent usability. In addition, it is supplied with a colour-matched factory hardtop finished in Pine Green metallic, allowing the car to be enjoyed year-round and transforming its character when fitted.

Inside, the cabin presents well with classic tan leather upholstery, matching carpets and wood veneer dashboard trim. The combination of Pine Green exterior over tan interior is particularly desirable and enhances its classic GT appeal. Covering 161,000 miles, this right hand drive example is accompanied by a substantial history file, with maintenance carried out by a respected South West London Mercedes specialist. It is supplied with two sets of keys, original handbook, maintenance booklet and factory data cards.
