The 220 Cabriolet A was completely disassembled and rebuilt from scratch in Sweden for a wealthy client by a Special workshop.
The wooden frame was renewed in Sweden.
During the restoration period, the client became seriously ill and had to sell the vehicle.
The current owner, who restores vehicles from this period himself, bought the half-finished project and brought it to Germany for completion.
All technical components, the engine, transmission, rear axle, brakes, all wiring, the saddlery and the soft top were overhauled in Germany
The restoration took well over 8 years.
Last year the car was registered and driven. During this time
small defects, which were repaired in the course of the test drives.
The 220 Cabriolet A is now in a great condition due to the high quality restoration.
During the works a restoration of the highest quality was the goal.
