This RALLY type NCP from 1931 belongs to a Coachbuilder by trade (born in 1937) for thirty years.

This RALLY type NCP was originally equipped with a 4-speed manual gearbox and a 1466 cc SALMSON engine.
After the World War II, the RALLY evolved to make a more powerful and faster “special version” for hill climb races in mountains. It received a COTAL semi-automatic gearbox, 4-speeds.
Bore of the engine block from 69 to 72 mm and replacement of the pistons to bring the displacement to 1600 cc, which puts it in the category of 100 Horsepower (100 Hp).

SALMSON engine 1600cc, 4 in-line cylinders with double overhead camshaft, dual carburetor. It is the only RALLY model to have the exterior exhaust pipe !
It is also equipped with a lever on the right side to lock the rear wheels in tight turns and in the pinheads.

This RALLY type NCP with a SALMSON engine 1600 cc is more powerful than a BUGATTI type 37 with an engine 1500 cc !

Work done on the RALLY :
When this car was picked up, it was a wreck ! The chassis has been reinforced, the mechanics have been restored while retaining original elements. The body car has been completely redone and partly customized.
The Coachbuilder put all his knowledge and know-how in this car. He wanted to reveal the clean lines and shapes as well as the texture of raw aluminium. It is an original and unique work, both in its restoration and in its customization.

According to PETER AUTO (organizer of vintage car races), this RALLY NCP is eligible for to participate in races like Le Mans Classic !

The Director of the Restoration Department of a big french Automobile Museum found this RALLY NCP : “exceptionnelle (exceptional) for the quality of its finishes and this car outperforms all other models of RALLY and SALMSON on the Oldtimers market !"

After the Monaco Grand Prix the RALLY is currently in Nice. You have the possibility to come to the French Riviera by car or by plane to the airport «Nice Côte d'Azur», where I will pick you up. We will be able to test and drive the car on the road (depending on traffic and weather). After we lunch together and I’ll take you to the airport.

Appointments, visits and tests of the car will ONLY be done in Nice and not elsewhere !

The price of this RALLY takes into account the 12 years of work and restoration. This car is like a work of art and it is also a financial investment because the price will continue to increase in the coming years. You buy a piece of French heritage !

Payment will be made mainly by bank transfer. No bitcoin !

Important information : If you measure more than 1.90 m, you will not be able to drive this car, but you can exhibit it in your living room like a BAUHAUS or ART DECO sculpture  (^_^)

Cette RALLY type NCP était à l’origine équipée d’une boîte manuelle de 4 vitesses et d’un moteur SALMSON de 1466 cm3.
Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le RALLY a évolué pour créer une “version spéciale" plus puissante et plus rapide pour les courses de côte en montagne. Elle a reçu une boîte de vitesses semi-automatique COTAL, 4 vitesses.
Alésage du bloc moteur de 69 à 72 mm et remplacement des pistons pour porter la cylindrée à 1600 cm3, ce qui le place dans la catégorie des 100 chevaux (100 ch).

Moteur SALMSON 1600 cm3, 4 cylindres en ligne avec double arbre à cames en tête, double carburateur. C'est le seul modèle de RALLY à avoir le pot d'échappement extérieur !
Il est également équipé d’un levier sur le côté droit pour bloquer les roues arrière dans les virages serrés et dans les têtes d’épingle.

Cette RALLY type NCP avec un moteur SALMSON de 1600 cm3 est plus puissante qu’une BUGATTI type 37 avec un moteur de 1500 cm3 !

Travail effectué sur la RALLY :
Quand cette voiture a été récupérée, c’était une épave ! Le châssis a été renforcé, la mécanique a été restaurée tout en conservant les éléments d’origine. La carrosserie a été entièrement refaite et en partie personnalisée.
Le Carrossier a mis toutes ses connaissances et tout son savoir-faire dans cette voiture. Il a voulu révéler les lignes et les formes épurées ainsi que la texture de l’aluminium brut. C’est une œuvre originale et unique, tant dans sa restauration que dans sa personnalisation.

Selon PETER AUTO (organisateur de courses de voitures anciennes), cette RALLY NCP est éligible pour participer à des courses comme Le Mans Classic !

Le Directeur du Département Restauration d’un grand Musée de l’Automobile français a trouvé cette RALLY NCP "exceptionnelle, pour la qualité de ses finitions et cette voiture surclasse tous les autres modèles de RALLY et SALMSON sur le marché des Oldtimers !"

Après le Grand Prix de Monaco, la RALLY est actuellement à Nice. Vous avez la possibilité de venir sur la Côte d’Azur en voiture ou en avion jusqu’à l’aéroport « Nice Côte d’Azur », où je viendrai vous chercher. Nous pourrons tester et conduire la voiture sur la route (en fonction de la circulation et de la météo). Après avoir déjeuné ensemble, je vous raccompagnerai à l'aéroport.

Les rendez-vous, les visites et les essais de la voiture se feront UNIQUEMENT à Nice et pas ailleurs !

Le prix de cette RALLY prend en compte les 12 années de travaux et de restauration. Cette voiture est comme une œuvre d’art et c’est aussi un investissement financier car le prix continuera d’augmenter dans les années à venir. Vous achetez un morceau de patrimoine français !

Le paiement se fera principalement par virement bancaire. Pas de bitcoin !

Information importante : Si vous mesurez plus de 1,90 m, vous ne pourrez pas conduire cette voiture, mais vous pourrez l’exposer dans votre salon comme une sculpture BAUHAUS ou ART DECO  (^_^)
