The current vendor purchased the car in 2021 for over £18,000 and it has only been lightly used since. The original 'Series-style' doors, tailgate &roof were all new in 2021 and fitted with stainless steel nuts and bolts; the windows are also removable allowing the windscreen to fold down. It also benefits from a rear bulkhead-delete with a heavy-duty bar-set and canvas hood supplied by Exmoor Trim. The bodywork was fully repainted in May 2025 in classic Keswick Green, and the chassis has also been fully galvanised promising years of trouble-free motoring ahead. Power is supplied through a 2.5 litre TD5 turbo diesel with an EGR valve delete and, to help it breathe a little easier, the centre exhaust box has been removed. Upgraded with a Discovery transfer gearbox with a short-shifter for a close gear change, it is reported to pull precisely through all gears. The seller states that the Hi-Lo ratio &diff-lock are working correctly with new callipers &pads upfront. The wing tops are finished in satin-black chequer-plate for a more rugged look and the dark-green Mach-5 replica wheels are in good order with Kumho Road Venture MT 265/75R16s tyres fitted. There is also an anodised, machined fuel cap by Optimal fitted and 'Series-style' headlight bezels fitted for a classic period look.
