The Fiat 1100 came in a whole range of versions. From sedan to the beautiful convertible with, amongst other things, a curved windshield, and from very special bodywork by Pininfarina to standard delivery versions. If you watch an Italian movie from the 1960s, there is a good chance that you will spot a Fiat 1100 passing by, whatever the version. As much as we love the special models, we are always delighted to come across a saloon in good condition. A Fiat 1100 saloon is simply a very nice car, and a Fiat 1100B that was originally delivered in the Netherlands and still retains its original license plate is very special indeed!

The car we are offering here is a 1957 1100B, also known as 1100/103 Berlina, having has stood the test of time very well. We find the body colour beautiful, and with the original details and the virtually original interior, it is a proper time machine. This 1100B, with its characteristic front and doors, has the original engine and is therefore 'matching numbers'.

The body has been resprayed at some stage in the past and is in good condition, including the seams of the doors, for example. The rubber parts also look fresh, and the whole makes a well-maintained impression. The brightwork, such as the grille and hubcaps, has developed a fine patina and forms a good match with the authentic details of its original interior. The headliner is also original, and the entire interior exudes the atmosphere of the 1950s. When we take place behind the wheel of this Fiat, it immediately becomes clear why this Italian brand is masterful in building small vehicles. The 1100 being a perfect example.

In addition, this 1100B participated in the Mille Miglia in 2021 and therefore benefits from the Registro 1000 Miglia certificato di'iscrizione. This makes this Fiat 'eligible' for the Mille Miglia and also comes with a Brantz rally meter. Of course, the Mille Miglia certificate is present and this nice Fiat comes with invoices that show that the car is fully prepared for the Mille Miglia. No expense was spared.

We don't see them often, but when we see a Fiat 1100 saloon, it makes us happy! This specimen is very beautiful and has the original Dutch license plate. In short, a great opportunity to own a beautiful Fiat.
