Description
This beautiful 1966 Volvo P1800S underwent a comprehensive bare-metal restoration in 2017. The body was expertly refinished in its original Pearl White, with only a small number of panels requiring repair. The quality of the restoration is evident throughout, with no expense spared in returning this iconic Swedish sportscar to an exceptional standard. The elegant white bodywork is complemented by a striking red interior, a factory-original colour combination confirmed by correspondence from Volvo. The same documentation also confirms that the car retains its matching engine and chassis numbers. Mechanically, the engine has been fully serviced and fitted with numerous new parts, while the braking system has undergone a complete overhaul, including a replacement master cylinder, brake lines, pads and cylinders. The interior has been comprehensively restored, with attention given to everything from the carpets to the seats. Further improvements include new front and rear windscreen rubbers, a refurbished steering wheel, professionally re-chromed bumpers, and new tyres and hubcaps all round. This superb P1800S presents beautifully and runs exceptionally well. It is accompanied by an impressive history file, Volvo heritage correspondence confirming its original specification and matching numbers, the original instruction book and V5 registration document.
