First of all, I thanks for your interest in our Rolls Royce James Young.
This car is in real perfect condition, in great driving condition. It has always been well maintained and serviced in our workshops. (I was one of my private cars).
As you may know, this is a very special model because James Young is the most sought-after bodybuilder for Rolls Royce and Bentley models since they only produced very limited series on special orders, mostly for very exclusive or famous customers.
Only 35 units of this special model were produced, between 1966 and 1967.
And only 9 units in left-hand drive (According to information provided by the Rolls-Royce Owners' Clubs). Clubs also estimate about 7 units only may still remain on the road.
This is the main reason they are very exclusive and desirable.
These models were of the last coach-built bodies manufactured by James Young Ltd. The famous factory closed down in 1967.
They are actually very few offers on the market. I have only seen a couple of them but in very bad condition that would need serious restoration.
Our car is VIN : CRX-1869
Starting with “C” meaning this is a two door special Coachwork.
“R” meaning this a Rolls Royce (Not Bentley)
And “X” for Left-hand drive
Our car is full matching number and this is the last one built in LHD.
he first car built by James Young was Nº 1067 on September 17, 1965. And delivered in January 1966.
The car is very good mechanical conditions and drives perfectly. The original leather trim is in perfect condition, has factory Air Conditioning, Powered windows and Power steering.
This is the original Factory Paint – Trim colour combination.
