It is the last "old school" 911, the Stuttgart sports car with the air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine. With its 272 hp of the 3,6 liters engine paired with the 6-speed short ratio gearbox, the first generation of the 993 represents the apex of the technological development and the of the driving pleasure among the GT "made by Porsche".
This 993 Carrera 2 reflects the styling of the main part of the 911s sold in Italy as it was sold new by the Porsche Soveco dealership in Bologna on February 10, 1995, to the first owner, who owned it for the first three years. The car still has the original configuration: Polar Silver with blue leather interior and among the option of our example there are the limited-slip differential and the sunroof.
In 1998, our 993 passed to the second owner for ten years before being transferred to the current owner. The car has never left Emilia Romagna: from Bologna, it has been to Forlì and Modena. The car has covered less than 160,000 kilometers and has been recently serviced. We checked for any serious engine leaks by raising the car on a lift (which are absent).
First equipment engine, never crashed, original, preserved and certified by the Italian Porsche 911 Registry.
