In 2004, the successful Maserati 4200 GT Coupé received an upgrade with the introduction of the refined GranSport. The GranSport unmistakably exudes Italian flair, sporty performance, and exclusivity.
Its 4.2-liter V8 engine now produces an impressive 401 horsepower. With a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h, this is a true sports car that fully lives up to the high expectations set by its striking appearance.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as the engine was developed during Maserati’s time under Ferrari ownership and therefore carries genuine Ferrari DNA. The transmission is also derived from Ferrari’s F1 technology: a Cambiocorsa sequential gearbox with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel, delivering lightning-fast gear changes.

This GranSport was originally delivered new in Japan and has been registered in the Netherlands since May 18, 2024. The car features various carbon accents and comes equipped with the very special “carbon-look” leather seats, as offered in the GranSport. These seats naturally include memory and heating functions.
The sound of the JBL audio system is fantastic, although the V8 engine’s roar is equally impressive, so the choice is yours as to which you prefer to hear. Comfort is further enhanced by the presence of electronic climate control (ECC).
This car has everything you expect from a luxury sports car, plus the unmistakable Italian flair and - because it’s a Maserati - that distinguished presence that many other sports cars simply don’t possess.

Only around 8,600 GranSports were ever built. The car is on its way to becoming a rare and highly sought-after classic, combining remarkable performance with exclusivity.
