We are proud to offer this beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. We purchased this Mustang several years ago directly from the owner in the United States, who had carried out a complete restoration. After the restoration, the car was entered in several classic car shows, where it won multiple Best of Show awards.
This Mustang is finished in the timeless factory color Wimbledon White, beautifully combined with a Dark Red Pony Deluxe interior. The color combination gives the car an elegant and classic appearance. Although the restoration was completed several years ago, the paintwork remains in exceptional condition. It has recently been professionally polished, giving it a deep shine and a fresh appearance. A new power-operated cloth convertible top has also recently been installed, completing the car perfectly.
Under the hood is the factory C-code 289 cubic inch (4.7-liter) V8 engine with a 2-barrel carburetor. For improved reliability and easier starting, an electronic ignition system has been fitted. The Mustang is also equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, and a dual exhaust system that delivers the unmistakable deep V8 sound.
One of the highlights of this Mustang is its outstanding body. The body panels are exceptionally straight, the panel gaps are excellent, and the doors fit and close exactly as they should. The underside is equally impressive, featuring clean original floors without heavy undercoating, allowing the quality of the body to be clearly appreciated.
This Ford Mustang is a beautifully restored, highly original example that offers both outstanding looks and a wonderful driving experience. It is registered in the Netherlands and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
