We are offering for sale a 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop. This Mustang was built at the San Jose, California assembly plant and spent virtually its entire life in California. The car remained with its original family for more than 50 years, a testament to how well it was cared for throughout its life. Thanks to its California heritage, this Mustang has retained a very solid and rust-free foundation.
Finished in its factory color, Code 8 Springtime Yellow, this Mustang has a timeless and cheerful appearance that perfectly reflects the spirit of the 1960s. The paintwork was refinished approximately twenty years ago and now shows some signs of use consistent with its age. However, after a good polish, it still presents very well and can be enjoyed exactly as it is.
The Pony interior is in nice condition and complements the classic look of the car beautifully. Under the hood is the factory C-code 289 cubic inch V8 engine, a reliable and proven powerplant known for its smooth performance, durability, and unmistakable V8 sound.
