There was a time when a Ferrari did not necessarily have to be red, did not necessarily have to be loud, and certainly did not have to shout that it was a Ferrari. The 250 GT Pinin Farina Coupé may well be one of the finest examples of that philosophy. Low, understated, and elegant.

The 250 GT Pinin Farina Coupé appeared in the late 1950s and represented an important step for Ferrari. It was one of the models with which Maranello began moving more seriously toward series production, without distancing itself from the engineering and character for which the brand had already become known. Under the hood lay the famous 3.0-liter Colombo V12, while Pinin Farina created a body that was comfortable enough for long-distance travel yet remained unmistakably Italian.

This was neither a pure racing car for the road nor a heavy luxury coupé. It sat precisely in between. A true gentleman’s Ferrari, built for customers who appreciated speed, but also comfort and presence. It is no coincidence that Ferraris like these ended up in the hands of people who could not only afford such a car, but who also understood exactly what they were buying.

The example we are offering is finished in Blu Sera with a beige leather interior. And frankly, it is difficult to imagine a more stylish combination. The color emphasizes the lines of the Pinin Farina body without overpowering them, while the light interior adds exactly the right classic atmosphere. But perhaps the most important aspect lies in the details.

The numbers are correct, the colors are correct, and the car has been inspected and certified by Ferrari Classiche. The result is the well-known Ferrari Classiche Red Book certification, officially documenting the car’s technical specification and identity.

The restoration and rebuilding work has been carried out to a high standard, and the overall condition is exactly what you would expect from a 250 GT of this caliber. The paintwork looks magnificent, the chrome is in very beautiful condition, and the interior presents as exceptionally well cared for.

And perhaps that is exactly why the Pinin Farina Coupé continues to command so much respect today. Not because it is the most extreme Ferrari of the 1950s, but because it is one of the most elegant. Blu Sera, beige leather, correct numbers, correct colors, and Ferrari Classiche certification with Red Book.
