Fantastic Dutch DKW F11. Very original and actually impossible to find anywhere else in such beautiful unrestored condition. They have become very rare, but back then this was a popular family car. Delivered new by Hart, Nibbrig and Greeve, it remained in the hands of a collector for a very long time. You can restore a car endlessly, but originality is something you only have once. That is what makes this DKW so special.

The F11 still has some of its original paintwork, which is incredible after 61 years. Delivered in white with a black roof, which creates a nice contrast. Of course, there are some signs of wear, but the paintwork still looks very neat. The body has been recently polished and is nice and smooth. A Dinitrol treatment was carried out in the past and, as is often the case, this has helped to preserve the car. The chrome work also looks good, including the original stainless steel hubcaps.

The interior is a real time capsule. The dashboard is completely original and features wood inlay and all the nice original details. The seats are comfortable and have been reupholstered in the past. The gauges work as they should and the dashboard is undamaged.The 3-cylinder two-stroke engine starts immediately and runs smoothly, even after a cold start. A two-stroke engine revs easily and has few moving parts. That is why this principle was very popular in the past. Riding it is great fun, with its distinctive sound. The engine provides sufficient performance and the 4-speed gearbox shifts smoothly. So, a genuine and rare DKW for only €6,900? Is that correct? Yes, it is.
