EXTERIOR
The Citroën 2CV, also known as the “Duck”, who doesn't know this iconic car? The model we are offering is not just any Duck, because it has nothing but advantages: originally delivered in the Netherlands, exceptionally original and beautifully finished in the original white colour, putting it in a beautiful condition that you will not easily find a second time. The bodywork has always been solid and the paintwork is in very good condition, with good fits on the bonnet, boot lid, doors, sills and mudguards. The original spot welds are still visible! The colour code “EWT” stands for “Blanc Meije” and is a beautiful classic white colour. It is remarkable that this original colour code is still visible under the bonnet. Almost all windows are still original. The roof can be slid back so that you can enjoy the sun and fresh air. The lighting, chrome work and rubbers are also in good and fresh condition.

INTERIOR
The interior is also very original and features beautiful black fabric upholstery. Naturally, this is also in good condition. The boot is also still hard, intact and original, and has room for the spare wheel.

TECHNICAL
The 602 cc engine delivers 29 hp and is linked to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The underside of the car is very hard and intact, as can be seen in the photo report. The rims are fitted with Michelin tyres all round. The car drives as it should: comfortably and playfully. The last MOT is valid until 11 May 2027. Thanks to its 1985 construction year, it is considered a classic car in the Netherlands. So you can drive and enjoy it right away!

GENERAL
The Citroën 2CV. Best known as the “Duck” or “Ugly Duckling”. This iconic French model was introduced in 1935 with French farmers as its target group. It therefore had to be affordable and reliable. It also had to be able to transport goods comfortably and safely over unpaved roads, such as potatoes, eggs and wine. One requirement was that eggs in a basket would not break when the car drove over a ploughed field, and this car performed well in this respect. The original plan was to present the “Deux Chevaux” at the Paris Motor Show in 1939, but due to the war, this did not happen until 1948. Production ran for an exceptionally long time: from 1949 to 1990. The Special is a limited edition model that is more luxurious than the standard models. Despite its great success and high production figures, a good, rust-free model is increasingly rare these days, let alone a very good one. The advantage of this latest series is its increased power (29 hp).
