1929 | Bentley 4 1/2 Litre
Description
This all-matching numbers, heavy chassis 4 ½ Litre was delivered new by Jack Olding & Co. in August 1929. The original Victor Broom Sports Saloon coachwork was replaced in the 1960s, but otherwise she remains mechanically complete and very original. The extensive history file shows she averaged only 1,800 miles a year from new with eight owners, the last of which owned her for just over 60 years and spanned three generations. Her white metal bearings were replaced recently in terms of mileage, and she has been kept in good fettle by experienced hands. Unfortunately, a crack in the cylinder block has recently brought her to a standstill until a new owner is sort. The opportunity presents itself to upgrade this attractively priced, late all matching numbers 4 ½ Litre and to write the next chapter. The perfect starting point for a Peking to Paris car or to rally on various events around the world.
