One of the most coveted classics ever built, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster perfectly combines timeless elegance with advanced engineering. Produced in just 1,858 examples between 1957 and 1963, this car was delivered new in Dortmund, Germany, in 1959 and spent many years in California before returning to Europe in 1991, where it has remained in private ownership ever since.
Beautifully restored some years ago, the car was refinished in the official Mercedes colour 172 Grau and fitted with a high-quality brown leather interior. A major mechanical overhaul was carried out in 2008 (invoices available), followed by recent servicing. Front disc brakes have been added to enhance drivability.
The 3.0-litre fuel-injected six-cylinder engine performs strongly, offering effortless power and a refined driving experience. Presented in excellent condition throughout, this Roadster comes with a copy of the Datenkarte and numerous maintenance invoices.
