This beautiful 560 SEC just came to us. The first delivery took place on May 5th, 1987 to Mr. Enrique Kilayko from Weston (Massachusetts). He maintained the vehicle demonstrably (all invoices from the 1st day are available) and kept it until retirement age. He also took him to Florida where he spent his twilight years. The second owner, Mr. Tod Mehous, owned the car until 2014 when it was exported to Germany in early 2015. The car was restored there by a very experienced collector who specializes in this model, in a cosmetically and technically high-quality manner and without regard to costs. The 100% rust-free body was ice-blasted and repainted in the original color, the entire technology including the engine and the front axle, brakes, air conditioning and much more were repaired, the interior and the wood were refurbished. In the course of the restoration, the bumpers, bumper chrome, headlights, taillights and the instrument cluster were converted to the European version. Finally, the underbody was preserved and the vehicle was presented to the TÜV. He has the H license plate and can now take part in traffic with reduced tax (192.00/year) and is also allowed to drive in environmental zones.
We have had the vehicle inspected, checked everything and can now present an excellent Mercedes C126 in a beautiful color combination, which does not need any repairs, drives excellently and will be a good investment for the future.
