  1. ORIGINAL JEEP WAGONEER 1979 TWO-TONE - ONLY 79,552 MILES (128.000 KM) ORIGINAL!

ATTENTION INVESTORS & SERIOUS COLLECTORS – A RARE PIECE OF AMERICAN HISTORY:

Do not confuse this magnificent vehicle with the common Grand Wagoneer models covered in fake wood vinyl. While the "woody" is widely recognized, this factory-original, highly optioned Two-Tone "Un-Woody" model (Metallic Bronze and Cream) is exponentially rarer. Very few original two-tone Wagoneers were produced by the factory in 1979, and today, finding one fully preserved, completely rust-free, and still in existence in Europe is virtually impossible. This is an extremely rare, near-extinct collector's item with an incredible survival pedigree. A true holy grail for purists.

THE INCREDIBLE "TIME CAPSULE" HISTORY & MY PERSONAL ADVENTURES:

This Wagoneer has a unique, fully documented history. Originally from Montana, it moved to the dry desert sun of Borrego Springs, California, owned by an elderly gentleman who used it exclusively to go playing golf. After he passed away, it was sold to his close golfing friend in Borrego Springs. When the second owner passed, the car remained sealed and untouched inside a dry garage for 10 long years. The wealthy owners lived in San Diego and only visited the Borrego Springs house for vacations during the year.

For a decade, Marco Degadillo, the Mexican pool cleaner who maintained the property, saw this magnificent machine sitting idle in the dark. He kept thinking: "These people are crazy to leave such a beautiful car rotting in a garage!" Passionate about the vehicle, Marco finally convinced the wealthy family to sell it to him. He brought the car to his home, keeping it for about 3 or 4 months. During this brief time, his young son started taking the Wagoneer out sporadically without permission, driving it 3 or 4 times for cross-country fun in the nearby desert dunes. To protect the rare vehicle and make sure the boy would leave it alone for good, Marco firmly said: "No, you leave this car in peace, I am going to sell it now."

That is exactly when I passed through Borrego Springs, spotted this magnificent time capsule, and bought it immediately to rescue its history. During my last 4 or 5 months in California before returning to Italy, I drove it for very few miles locally, but took it on epic road trips through the wild roads of Baja California, driving all the way down to Bahia de los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas. I visited multiple classic yards there just to research and verify the unique history of this specific vehicle. To ensure it arrived in Europe in absolute top mechanical condition, I had it fully inspected and serviced by specialized mechanics in California. Every single original American service invoice and receipt from this inspection is perfectly preserved and located inside the vehicle!

LIFE IN ITALY & THE REASON FOR LOW MILEAGE:

After importing the vehicle to Italy, it was driven for very few kilometers, always kept warm and dry inside a private garage, explaining the incredibly low odometer reading of just 79,552 miles. Its only major European trip was a beautiful journey from the Marche region to the island of Sardinia. Shortly after, the Italian government introduced a strict law banning the circulation of foreign/Californian-registered vehicles for non-residents. Refusing to alter its absolute originality by registering it with modern Italian plates, I made the conscious decision to store it safely in my private garage as a static collector's piece. This is why the vehicle has remained untouched, rust-free, and perfectly preserved until today.

100% VERIFIABLE PEDIGREE & PREMIUM FACTORY OPTIONS (FULL OPTIONAL):

  • The 15th Photo – Original 1979 Window Sticker: Please look closely at the 15th photo. It displays the official, original dealership Window Sticker from 1979 that was attached to the car's window when new, fully certifying all factory-original options and its authentic pedigree.

  • Fully Verifiable History: The history of this car is completely transparent. Among the official vehicle documents, I still possess the original 2007 California telephone contact of the 3rd owner, Marco Degadillo, from the moment of purchase, allowing full verification of these amazing facts.

  • 100% Original Pure Hemp/Canvas Seats: Incredibly rare factory interior option. Completely original, indestructible, stays perfectly cool under the summer sun, and remains in beautiful, honest condition.

  • Full Luxury Equipment from 1979: Factory-original tinted glass (sun protection), power steering, air conditioning, cruise control, and the original heavy-duty towing hitch receiver integrated into the frame. All main components, including the electric rear window, dashboard knobs, and wiper motors, have been fully checked and are functional.

  • Classic White Wall All-Season Tires: Premium whitewall tires imported directly from the USA, perfect for all European weather conditions.

DOCUMENTATION & LOCATION:

Comes with the sacred original California Pink Slip (owner privacy strictly protected on the document) and all official European import custom documents from the port of Rotterdam, proving all duties and VAT are fully paid. I am only the 4th owner from new. The car is currently located in Lucca (Tuscany, Italy) inside a private specialized storage for classic cars, where it is kept safe and regularly maintained. It is fully driveable and immediately ready for international transport or bisarca delivery anywhere in Germany, the Netherlands, or Scandinavia.
