From the factory, this Mustang was equipped as a C-code V8 with the well-known 289 cui, 4.7-liter engine producing 200 hp. The engine is fitted with performance exhaust headers, providing a great V8 sound as well as improved engine performance. The cooling system has also been upgraded with an aluminum radiator for improved cooling.
The 289 V8 is combined with a C4 automatic transmission. This smooth-shifting automatic perfectly suits the comfortable character of this Convertible and makes it a wonderful classic for relaxed cruising.
This Mustang also comes with the right comfort options, including power steering, power-assisted brakes and a power-operated convertible top. These are exactly the options that make driving a classic Mustang Convertible even more enjoyable.
