Newly arrived from the USA, we are pleased to offer this 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop. A Mustang with the right looks, plenty of character, and a truly enjoyable driving experience. Finished in the beautiful Nightmist Blue Metallic, a timeless color that perfectly complements the classic lines of the Mustang. Originally, this Mustang left the factory in Wimbledon White, but its current color suits the car exceptionally well.
The paintwork is several years old but still retains a deep, attractive shine. There are a few small areas that could benefit from touch-up work, but overall the car presents very well and can be enjoyed exactly as it is.
This Mustang was originally built as a C-code 289 V8 and has since been upgraded for improved performance. The engine now features an aluminum intake manifold, a 4-barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, headers, and a performance camshaft. The result is a strong-running V8 with plenty of power, excellent throttle response, and a great V8 sound.
One of the highlights of this Mustang is its Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. This modern gearbox shifts with precision and allows the engine to cruise comfortably at lower RPM on the highway, making the car much more enjoyable for longer trips while maintaining its sporty character.
