When Ferrari develops a four seater, the challenge is always the same: create real space without sacrificing speed or character. Not a symbolic 2 plus 2 with occasional rear seats, but a true Grand Tourer in which four adults can travel in comfort. In 2004 Ferrari presented its answer: the 612 Scaglietti.
This 2005 example was delivered new by an official Ferrari dealer in the Netherlands and presents in a very well cared for condition. For fourteen years the car remained with the same owner.

At its introduction the 612 Scaglietti was the largest road going Ferrari ever built. Yet it weighed less than its predecessor, the 456M. This was achieved through a fully aluminum chassis, a construction that is both rigid and relatively light.
Up front sits a 5,748 cc sixty five degree V12 producing approximately 540 horsepower. The engine is an evolution of the unit used in the 575M Maranello and delivers its power in a smooth, linear fashion without hesitation. Top speed is around 315 km per hour.
The F1A transmission was improved for faster shift response. Manual gear selection is available via the steering wheel paddles, giving you full control whenever you want it.
The 612 also features adaptive damping and selectable driving modes via the manettino on the steering wheel. The integrated CST system, Control for Stability and Traction, was a technical innovation for Ferrari at the time and adds an extra layer of confidence.
