Few cars capture the character of BMW's classic grand tourers quite like the E24 6 Series, and this 628 CSi is an especially compelling example. Having covered just 55,000 miles from new, it combines exceptional originality with the increasingly rare factory five-speed manual gearbox. Finished in elegant Alpine White with a contrasting Pearl Beige leather interior, the car presents beautifully throughout and retains an impressive level of originality. Under the bonnet sits BMW's silky-smooth 2.8-litre M30 straight-six, paired with the precise Getrag five-speed manual gearbox, making this a particularly enjoyable specification for both touring and enthusiastic driving.

Our vendor has an impressive collection of E24s and sourced this particular car around six years ago. On viewing it, he was struck by just how clean and genuine the car was and simply had to add it to his collection. Since then, it has been carefully stored and preserved.

The attention to originality continues throughout. The period-correct Pioneer KEH9300 radio cassette with graphic equaliser remains fitted, while the original dealer book pack and service booklet are present alongside the factory toolkit, glovebox torch, unused spare wheel and original running-in windscreen sticker. The specification includes air conditioning, electric sunroof, ABS, Sundym green-tinted glass, front fog lights, lower front spoiler and rear boot spoiler, together with dealer-supplied mudflaps.
